Details:

[Teams]

Each team must have a minimum of 10 members to be eligible for promotion. If a team has fewer than 10 members after the qualification matches, they will lose their eligibility to participate in Stage 2 and Stage 3, and the next team in line will take their place.

Same job classes are limited to no more than 4 in the team. Same job classes are limited to 2 in the 5-member party. If the number of the same class exceeds the limit, the overlapped class members are not able to participate in the match.

All team member adjustments must be done before July 30th 12:00 PDT.

[Stage 2 Point-based Matches]

This will take place over 4 days with 6 matches per day. A match takes 15 minutes.

During the matching period, all teams will be in the waiting lobby to participate in the match. A match begins with the selection of teams that qualified during the Warm-up matches and randomly select opponents.

During the matching with opponents, one team will be randomly selected to be the priority team, and they will be able to choose 2 maps for the following matches and can set the team member placement strategy first. The second team can view the first team’s member placement and adjust their plans accordingly. Each team will be divided into two parties for each map during the match. The member placement is made by the team leader. Each map winner will win points for the team.  After each match ends, it will generate the points for ranking.

There will be 4 battle divisions for the event. Each division select 8 teams based on the points rank to participate in the Thor Cup.

[Stage 3 Thor Cup Matches]

The matches will be best of 7, with a team needing to win 4 matches out of 7 to win the match.

The matches will divide the teams to a vanguard party and a backup party. The team leader can arrange 5 members to the vanguard party to participate first.

Each member can only participate up to 3 times. However, this rule does not apply to the 7th match.

The 1st, 4th, and 7th match map is fixed. The remaining maps will be selected by participant by taking turns.

Good luck to all teams and we hope you enjoy the Thor Cup!
