18. Equipment – Card

Do you want to strengthen your weapons and armors?

Open slots and equip cards!

▣ Opening Slots

You’ll be able to equip cards to your equipment after clearing the “[Adventure] Challenge of Izlude” quest at Level 23.

While following the relevant quest, talk to NPC Chris in Prontera’s Equipment Shop to open slots on your equipment.

To open slots on equipment, you need to spend Advanced Diamonds as well as Eden Coins.

Gather the materials needed and tap “Add Socket” to punch a socket into your equipment.

Once punched, each socket grants a random property to your equipment.

The granted property can be changed through Reforging and Changing Attribute.

Tap the arrow button next to the enchantment property to open the Attribute Reforge window.

Tapping the “Reforge” button will consume Eden coins to reveal a new attribute you can change it into. Tap “Change Attribute” to confirm the change.

▣ Equipping Card

You can equip cards into equipment that has opened slots.

To equip cards, tap the “+” button on the slot or go to the “Insert Card” tab.

Properties of equipped cards override the slot’s innate property. However, if ever the card is removed, the slot will still maintain its original property.

Tap the “Insert Card” button to bring up a menu of Cards that are eligible to be used with your chosen equipment.

Choose a card and tap “Use” to equip it.

You can spend Eden Coins to unequip cards by tapping the “Remove Card” button.

The unequipped card will be retrieved and the original property of the slot will be reactivated.

Each time you forge or obtain new equipment, it’s worth it to open slots and fill them with cards to make them more powerful!

IMPORTANT NOTICE Regarding Ragnarok Origin NA

Greetings Midgardians,

We are pleased to announce important changes regarding Ragnarok Origin NA (ROONA). We have always strived to deliver the best player experience possible, with a variety of new events, constant updates, implementing player feedback and more.

The Ragnarok Origin franchise currently serves players across various regions, including the United States and Canada, and is being played all across the world. However, we’d like Ragnarok Origin to be enjoyed and experienced by even more players.

As such, we plan to launch Ragnarok Origin as a new and expanded service, including not only North America, but also Latin America. The new-look Ragnarok Origin, ROO:Ragnarok Origin, will be redesigned to provide even-greater reliability and will also launch with a dedicated PC client featuring cross-play functionality. Players will be able to enjoy larger communities and expanded content with a larger playerbase from this expanded region. ROO:Ragnarok Origin will be launched as a completely new game and will run separately from the current ROONA. The new ROO:Ragnarok Origin will begin pre-registration in December, with it launching in January 2024.

To make way for the all-new ROO:Ragnarok Origin, ROONA will cease to be offered on the mobile app stores, due to the policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. ROONA will be taken off the mobile app stores in early December.; we will update again when the exact date is confirmed. What’s important to remember is that players will still be able to play and download ROONA via our website after ROONA is no longer available on the mobile app stores. Also, events and services for ROONA will continue even after the new ROO: Ragnarok Origin is released.

Unfortunately, due to the technical limitations, we are unable to carry over any data or progress from ROONA to the upcoming ROO:Ragnarok Origin service. In light of this, ROO:Ragnarok Origin will have a special incentive program for ROONA players who opt to transition to ROO:Ragnarok Origin. More details about this incentive program will be provided in the future.

Our goal is to bring an improved Ragnarok Origin experience to more players across the world while providing more choices for existing players. We look forward to moving towards the next chapter of our Ragnarok Origin journey with all of our dedicated fans and players, and we always appreciate your support.
