[PatchNote] Patch Notes for the March 10th, 2022 Update

Greeting Midgardians!

Today, 3/09/2022, from 9:00PM PST to 1:00AM PST, we will conduct server maintenance. Here are the patch notes for your perusal.

3/10 Patch Notes

New Content:
Evil Invasion
•Duration: 2022/3/10 00:00:00 - 2022/3/16 23:00:00

•Introduction: The dense northern forest is shrouded in fog all year round, and the Morroc hidden deep within is ready to break out and return to earth. When this happens, his evil energy will be released and affect the surroundings of Prontera.

o The event is divided into 3 stages: Early Stage - Scouting, Middle Stage - Confronting, and Late Stage - Final Battle.
o The first three days of the event will be the Early Stage - Scouting. Adventurers need to complete the hunting and collecting quests of this event in the first three days, which adds to the progress bar of the server (the added amount will affect the subsequent two stages and the final result).
o The middle three days of the event will be the Middle Stage - Confronting. There will be extra elite monsters spawned on the map. Killing the elite monsters will also add to the progress bar.
o The last day of the event will be the Late Stage - Final Battle. At 20:30 of that day, an MVP and a large number of elite monsters will be spawned in a random location of Prontera field. The MVP’s action is based on the progress bar of the first two stages.
o If the progress bar reaches the target, adventurers will receive the victory reward in this event. If the progress bar does not reach the target, the MVP will eventually invade Prontera.

Limited-Time Events：

1. BINGO
•Duration: 2022/3/10 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/24 4:59:59
•Content: During the event period, receive digit chests through daily quests, light up digits to complete a BINGO. The more BINGOs you complete, the more generous the reward will be! You can also give the extra digit chests to your friends!
•Requirement: Base level 16 or above

2. Malangdo Supply
•Duration: 2022/3/10 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/17 4:59:59
•Content: During the event period, adventurers can select which item they will receive the next day by talking to NPCs. The longer they stay online, the better the rewards they will receive!
•Requirement: Base level 16 or above

3. Operation Commission

•Duration: 2022/3/10 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/17 4:59:59
•Content: During the event period, the daily limit of Commission Tickets is increased by 20 tickets (refreshed at 5:00 daily)
•Requirement: The Commission feature is unlocked

4. Treasure Hunter

•Duration: 2022/3/17 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/24 4:59:59, Every day 21:30~23:30
•Content: Become a Treasure Hunter and discover treasures hidden in the mysterious monsters. There’s a chance to find surprise rewards as well!
•Requirement: Base level 25 or above

5. Veins Strategic Battle
•Duration: 2022/3/17 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/22 4:59:59, Every day 21:30~23:30
•Item Redeem Deadline: 2022/3/24 4:59:59
•Content: After entering the event dungeon during the event period, adventurers will be randomly put into 2 different factions. Defending your faction to earn salt pillar shards and event points to redeem for rewards as well as the time-limited title & chat frame.
•Requirement: Base level 55 or above

6. Roll the Dice
•Duration: 2022/3/24 5:00:00 ~ 2022/4/8 4:59:59, Prize Claim available until 2022/4/21 4:59:59
•Content: During the event period, adventurers can obtain dice from commission quests and use them to unlock rewards!
•Requirement: Base level 25 or above

7. MVP Fever!
•Duration: 2022/3/24 5:00:00 ~ 2022/3/31 4:59:59
•Content: You can get additional MVP gift packs from MVP kills during the event period. The refresh time of MVPs is shortened from 120 minutes to 90 minutes. The times of daily MVP participation rewards/team rewards are increased from 5 to 7.
•Requirement: Base level 11 or above

8. Valkyrie’s Favor
•Duration: 2022/3/24 5:00:00 ~ 2022/4/7 4:59:59
•Content: During the event period, players can respawn without using the respawn item.
•Requirement: All players

9. Super Extreme Challenge
•Duration: 2022/3/24 0:00:00 ~ 2022/3/30 23:59:59
•Content: During the event period, you will receive 50% more of the basic reward (Eden Coin). After completing the challenge, you can also receive surprise gift bags based on the difficulty (1 extra surprise gift bag for 1 star, 2 extra surprise gift bags for 2 stars, and 3 extra surprise gift bags for 3 stars).
•Requirement: Base level 40 or above

Adjustments:

IMPORTANT NOTICE Regarding Ragnarok Origin NA

Greetings Midgardians,

We are pleased to announce important changes regarding Ragnarok Origin NA (ROONA). We have always strived to deliver the best player experience possible, with a variety of new events, constant updates, implementing player feedback and more.

The Ragnarok Origin franchise currently serves players across various regions, including the United States and Canada, and is being played all across the world. However, we’d like Ragnarok Origin to be enjoyed and experienced by even more players.

As such, we plan to launch Ragnarok Origin as a new and expanded service, including not only North America, but also Latin America. The new-look Ragnarok Origin, ROO:Ragnarok Origin, will be redesigned to provide even-greater reliability and will also launch with a dedicated PC client featuring cross-play functionality. Players will be able to enjoy larger communities and expanded content with a larger playerbase from this expanded region. ROO:Ragnarok Origin will be launched as a completely new game and will run separately from the current ROONA. The new ROO:Ragnarok Origin will begin pre-registration in December, with it launching in January 2024.

To make way for the all-new ROO:Ragnarok Origin, ROONA will cease to be offered on the mobile app stores, due to the policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. ROONA will be taken off the mobile app stores in early December.; we will update again when the exact date is confirmed. What’s important to remember is that players will still be able to play and download ROONA via our website after ROONA is no longer available on the mobile app stores. Also, events and services for ROONA will continue even after the new ROO: Ragnarok Origin is released.

Unfortunately, due to the technical limitations, we are unable to carry over any data or progress from ROONA to the upcoming ROO:Ragnarok Origin service. In light of this, ROO:Ragnarok Origin will have a special incentive program for ROONA players who opt to transition to ROO:Ragnarok Origin. More details about this incentive program will be provided in the future.

Our goal is to bring an improved Ragnarok Origin experience to more players across the world while providing more choices for existing players. We look forward to moving towards the next chapter of our Ragnarok Origin journey with all of our dedicated fans and players, and we always appreciate your support.
