Hello Midgardians, we will be going down for maintenance this Wednesday, 2/23/2022, starting at 21:00PST to 2/24/2022 01:00PST . Here are the patch notes for your perusal.

2/24 Patch Notes

New Content：
(1) New Job [Crusader]
① New Job - Crusader
● Swordsmen who reach base and job level 40 are eligible for the job change quest. They can now choose to either become a Knight or Crusader.
● Crusaders are warriors who believe in the holy light and can use both spears and swords, as well as unique shield-based skills. Adept Crusaders are often built both offensively and defensively, and are the most fearless warriors on the battlefield. In addition, the Crusader's unique holy light skills can deal high damage to Undead and Shadow monsters. When facing the monsters of Glast Heim, the holy light will always be with you and purify the evil!
② New Verus Core for Crusader

(2) New Maps
The seal of Glast Heim has finally been opened, the dusty past will be gradually revealed, and a thrilling and exciting adventure awaits you!
● Open Glast Heim and surrounding areas are available now
● New MVP monsters, MINI monsters, elite monsters, and regular monsters

(3) New gameplay
① War of Emperium
Event Time: Every Sunday 18:40 - 20:00
Overview:
● The War of Emperium are Guild Battles over the several castles around Prontera and Geffen.
● War of Emperium eligibility will be confirmed at 5:00 (the guild level must be 3 or above).
● Preparation takes place at 5:00 - 18:00, and members of eligible guilds can accept and complete the preparation quests.
● War of Emperium starts at 19:00. Adventurers compete in various castles. The guild owning each castle needs to defend the attacks from other guilds.
● When an attacker manages to destroy the Emperium in the castle, their guild becomes the new defender.
● The defender guild at the end of the countdown becomes the new castle owner.
● The members of the castle owner have access to the castle owner chest, guild dungeon, and more.
※ Themed Party event time has been adjusted to: Every Sunday 20:30~21:00

② Chapter 9 of Sage’s Memory - Attacking Prontera at Night
● Available for characters base level 85 or above and server level 85 or above who have completed the prerequisite dungeon.

● Content: Establish a recruitment relationship with a returning player and earn Recruitment Coins by completing quests. Recruitment Coins can be used to redeem rewards in the Recruitment Shop. There is a limited mount in the Recruitment Shop waiting for you!
● Requirement: Base level 25 or above for the recruiter (active player) ; Base level 55 and above for the returning player

（2）Deviruchi’s Offer
● Duraton: 2022/2/24 5:00:00 - 2022/3/3 4:59:59
● Content: You can get 5 additional Deviruchi Vouchers per day during the event (the items will automatically disappear after the event ends).
● Requirement: Base level 30 or above

（3）Rainbow Covenant
● Duraton: 2022/2/24 5:00:00 - 2022/3/3 4:59:59
● Content: During the event period, you will receive a lot of rewards by completing the duo event quests.
● Requirement: Base level 25 or above

（4）Valkyrie’s Favor
● Duraton: 2022/2/24 5:00:00 - 2022/3/10 4:59:59
● Content: During the event period, players can respawn without using the respawn item.
● Requirement: All players

（5）Battle Buffet

● Content: During the event period, there is a chance to get recovery items by hunting down monsters.

（6）Operation Union

● Content: During the event, assisting other players will reward you an additional 50% of Proofs of Union.
● Requirement: Base level 20 or above

（7）Super Extreme Challenge
● Duraton: 2022/3/3 0:00:00 - 2022/3/9 23:59:59
● Content: During the event period, you will receive 50% more of the basic reward (Eden Coin). After completing the challenge, you can also receive surprise gift bags based on the difficulty (1 extra surprise gift bag for 1 star, 2 extra surprise gift bags for 2 stars, and 3 extra surprise gift bags for 3 stars).
● Requirement: Base level 40 or above

（8）15-day Sign-in
● Duraton: 2022/2/24 5:00:00 - 2022/3/24 4:59:59
● Content: During the event period, a total sign-in of 15 days will be rewarded with a fabulous headgear.
● Requirement: Base level 25 or above
Adjustments：
● The Valentine's Day Chocolate from Milly’s Kitchen event can be placed in Storage and sold to NPC (100 Eden Coins each).

IMPORTANT NOTICE Regarding Ragnarok Origin NA

Greetings Midgardians,

We are pleased to announce important changes regarding Ragnarok Origin NA (ROONA). We have always strived to deliver the best player experience possible, with a variety of new events, constant updates, implementing player feedback and more.

The Ragnarok Origin franchise currently serves players across various regions, including the United States and Canada, and is being played all across the world. However, we’d like Ragnarok Origin to be enjoyed and experienced by even more players.

As such, we plan to launch Ragnarok Origin as a new and expanded service, including not only North America, but also Latin America. The new-look Ragnarok Origin, ROO:Ragnarok Origin, will be redesigned to provide even-greater reliability and will also launch with a dedicated PC client featuring cross-play functionality. Players will be able to enjoy larger communities and expanded content with a larger playerbase from this expanded region. ROO:Ragnarok Origin will be launched as a completely new game and will run separately from the current ROONA. The new ROO:Ragnarok Origin will begin pre-registration in December, with it launching in January 2024.

To make way for the all-new ROO:Ragnarok Origin, ROONA will cease to be offered on the mobile app stores, due to the policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. ROONA will be taken off the mobile app stores in early December.; we will update again when the exact date is confirmed. What’s important to remember is that players will still be able to play and download ROONA via our website after ROONA is no longer available on the mobile app stores. Also, events and services for ROONA will continue even after the new ROO: Ragnarok Origin is released.

Unfortunately, due to the technical limitations, we are unable to carry over any data or progress from ROONA to the upcoming ROO:Ragnarok Origin service. In light of this, ROO:Ragnarok Origin will have a special incentive program for ROONA players who opt to transition to ROO:Ragnarok Origin. More details about this incentive program will be provided in the future.

Our goal is to bring an improved Ragnarok Origin experience to more players across the world while providing more choices for existing players. We look forward to moving towards the next chapter of our Ragnarok Origin journey with all of our dedicated fans and players, and we always appreciate your support.
